Rustin Goodgion - CIC

Rustin Goodgion CIC

Partner / Risk Advisor

I earned my bachelor’s degree in risk management and insurance from the University of North Texas in the spring of 2007. Shortly thereafter, I found my professional calling within the independent insurance agency channel. Since graduation, I have been proud to serve clients at Patterson and Associates Insurance Agency, where I provide tailored insurance solutions through access to a diverse portfolio of products and carriers. My objective is to deliver an exceptional client experience through personalized service, expertise, and integrity in every interaction.

In the fall of 2007, I completed the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas (IIAT) Commercial Lines Producer School, which equipped me with a strong technical foundation and a competitive advantage in the commercial insurance marketplace. I hold a General Lines license for Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance, and in July 2011, I earned the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. In January 2014, I became a partner and shareholder in the agency.

I am actively involved with the Independent Insurance Agents of Dallas (IIAD) where I have had the privilege of serving on multiple committees.

Outside of my professional endeavors, I have been married to my wife, Audrey, since 2009. We have one daughter, Olivia, and one miniature schnauzer, Harper. In my personal time, I enjoy traveling with my family, dining out with my wife, and playing golf whenever possible.
