Rustin Goodgion

I graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Risk Management and Insurance in the spring of 2007. After graduation, I quickly realized the independent insurance agent channel suited me best. I have been at Patterson and Associates Insurance Agency since graduation. As an independent agent, I offer my clients a variety of products and companies to fit their unique insurance needs. My goal is to provide my clients with the best experience when purchasing their insurance.

I also graduated from the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas (IIAT) Commercial Lines Producer School in the fall of 2007 which gives me a competitive advantage when it comes to truly knowing the commercial insurance marketplace. I have my General Lines license to sell both Property/Casualty and Life/Health. I received my CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation in July 2011. In January 2014, I became a partner and shareholder in the agency.

I am actively involved with the Independent Insurance Agents of Dallas (IIAD) as well as a member of the Young Agents where I have served on multiple committees. I have been married to my beautiful wife Audrey since 2009, we have one baby girl named Olivia and two miniature schnauzers named Hudson and Harper. In my free time I enjoy traveling with my family and going to dinners with my wife. I also try and sneak in a round of golf from time to time.
